Agronomist, National Univeristy of Laos. Conducted a study of agrarian systems in rural communities of Veng Phoukha District, Loung Namtha Province for an funded EU project. Responsibilities included the conduct of Participatory Rural Appraisal.

Environmental Scientist, Rehabilitatation and Revegetation Programme, Phu Bia Gold Mine. Responsibilities included coordination of field teams for the stabilisation and revegetation of disturbed land and development of a nursery.

Responsibilities included the coordination and training of a field team to conduct routine environmental and safety monitoring of all construction activities including: waste management; hazardous materials; revegetation; water quality; emergency response; community grievance; spoil disposal. Responsible for preparation of weekly site inspection forms and conduct of water quality monitoring.

Agronomist, Nam Theun 2 Downstream Livelihood Restoration Programme, NTPC. Assisted with the conduct of a feasibility assessment of agrarian systems in 20 villages along the Xe Bang Fai. Assessment included identification of options to improve rice production, diversify crop production.
